As the market for Southeast Asian sea bass expanded, a Thai seafood processing company faced significant challenges in the transportation and storage of their fish products. Ensuring that the fish maintained its quality throughout these processes was critical to their business operations. To address this, CBFI® provided a comprehensive fish storage solution that included a 20-ton per day flake ice machine and a double spiral quick-freezing system. This solution was designed to meet the client’s needs by preserving the freshness and quality of the fish during both transport and storage.
The double spiral quick-freezing system provided by CBFI® is designed with special insulation space and a circular air duct that allow for efficient and thorough freezing. The system quickly reduces the core temperature of the fish to below -18°C, which is vital for preserving the integrity of the fish’s cellular structure. This rapid freezing process ensures that the fish retains its nutritional value and taste, making it more appealing to consumers. By maintaining such high quality, the frozen fish gains a competitive edge in the market, opening up new opportunities for the client.
In terms of equipment features, the quick-freezing system is equipped with advanced transmission technology, including low-tension synchronous transmission and multiple inverters, which ensure smooth and precise operation. The stainless steel mesh belt, made from 304 stainless steel and equipped with edge guards, prevents the products from slipping and meets Ashworth standards of the USA, ensuring reliability and durability. The compact structure of the system also maximizes space utilization, making the process more efficient.
During the installation and operation phase, our technicians meticulously installed the quick-freezing tunnel, ensuring that every component was optimized for performance. The flake ice machine was set up with equal precision, guaranteeing effective and efficient cooling. The clean and neat exterior of the quick-freezing tunnel reflects our commitment to quality and attention to detail. Inside the tunnel, the intricate air duct design ensures even and effective cooling, which is critical for maintaining product quality.
The final result is a perfectly frozen product. The fish, preserved with flake ice, is kept fresh and cold, and after passing through the quick-freezing tunnel, it is frozen solid, ready for long-term storage and transport. The fish’s core temperature is reduced to -21.5°C, ensuring that it remains safely preserved. The frozen fish is then packed and maintained in a stable condition, ideal for long-distance shipping, ensuring it arrives at its destination in perfect condition.
